Our only prevading hope comes from our Lord Jesus Christ, who said in John 12:24 "Verily, truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds."

I think Charlie's life will produce many seeds, such as mentioned in Mark 4:20 "And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred."

It seems as though Turning Point is gaining more views and new members by the tens of thousands. The social media clips of his speeches and debates are blowing up all social feeds presently. I have no doubt, hearing his convictions, as he defended his beliefs and perspectives in attempt to turn this darkening nation around, that he is now dwelling with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

I hope there are others who will contribute to this fire that has ignited, some to attempt to step into his shoes and fill this massive void left by his life. I had actually given up on writing, "The Christian and the Lion" series, but I feel the conviction and will do my part as burdened by my conscience. 

My hat's off to you, Charlie Kirk. Others like myself will pray for your children to grow with the same fire you had. We will pray for your family's protection and guidance from God Almightly.

Read more]]> So, a lot has happened since my last post. Admittedly, I’ve been lazy and busy like crazy. It’s amazing how the thorns of the world choke out the good seeds that sprout.

I worked on the audio book for the Nero’s Circus Maximus and got most of the way through it. Then when editing the audio, which is a science, I realized I had wasted about a month because I had the wrong distance from the microphone. What I learned was that I paid three professional editors a lot of money and missed about thirty errors. OUCH!

After cleaning it up, I decided to pick up on travel assignments and save as much as I can to build a garage and have a soundproof room in it so the kids and dogs don’t inhibit me from doing the audio. At that point I’ll do the audio for books two and three and then work on finishing four. It truly is a labor of love. I presently dissecting Roman, Corinthians, Ephesians, and Galatians to see what I can piece into the storyline for the second book in the Christian and the Lion series.

When going through Luke and Acts, I realized something monumental. Luke recorded every monumental moment in Christ’s life and Paul’s, except for Paul’s death…. Why? Because Luke wrote acts before Paul was killed, otherwise it would certainly be in there. Why is that important because skeptics often say the Bible was written centuries after it was. We know that Paul was beheaded by Nero between 66 and 68 A.D.

So, what we get from that is that all of Luke’s work and Paul’s were in circulation before 66 A.D. thus putting the skeptics claims to rest.

Anyways, I’ll try to figure out how to upload some pics from the latest Guatemala mission about a month ago and in the meantime, I will be working on Victorian Rising and doing some extra character development for the rest of The Christian and the Lion series.

Read more]]> I watched an episode of Is Genesis History with geologist Andrew Snelling PHD Sydney, Australia take Del Tacket, to Arizona. These are just some notes I took. Very fascinating. There they discussed the monumental error in dating the decay of atoms based on the present decay rate. Snelling explained how Uranium yields lead and how potassium yields argon, which are measured to determine the age of elements.

Recent lava flows in Hawaii, New Zealand, and Mt Saint Helens were all tested to be millions of years old using present day, conventional dating methods. These samples were taken shortly after the lava had cooled and solidified.

Snelling picked up some crusted lava and basalt and showed how it had bubbles and fractures which then lead to leaching and showed the acceleration of aging, which is similar with mudflows carving out meters a second of land, just as it did at Mt. Saint Helens mud slide to cut sheer rock out of the mountain to produce the “Miniature Grand Canyon” in minutes. The miniature Grand Canyon is very similar to the actual Grand Canyon in Arizona. The acceleration of the debris flow took minutes which would have been understood as taking tens of thousands to millions of years to form, had not there been witnesses to the great mudslide at Mt. Saint Helens.

Charles Lyell, in England in 1830 published his book The Principles of Geology which stated that the present geography of the Earth had taken millions of years to accomplish the present geographical make up. He was instrumental in Darwin’s pursuit of the theory of evolution.

Snelling then explained how accelerated radioactive decay is evident from catastrophic events. He explained how crystals from granite produce radioactive halos, which are a product of polonium nucleating very quickly and how they produce 1 lead and 8 helium halos from some granite in New Mexico. Granite dated by helium leakage was about 6 thousand years old and while according to tradition methods of decay rate, it was 1.5 billion years.

Radio carbon is found in organic materials, not rocks. It is developed when cosmic radiation turns nitrogen into carbon-14 atoms, which circulates in the air we breathe an is absorbed in plants in photosynthesis. After 90 thousand years, there should be no radiocarbon left in dinosaur bones, but there is. As long as we live, we have radioactive carbon but when we die, we no longer can absorb it. Coal beds, dinosaurs, and petrified wood from England and Australia, all have radio carbon. Coal beds yielded the same radiocarbon age from all over the world.

Diamonds brought up from volcanic eruptions- pre eruption had no exposure to radio carbon and the hard substance of diamond can’t be contaminated with carbon 14. All diamonds tested from Africa, yielded the same age around 6 thousand years old.

Coal beds all over the U.S. and Europe that were tested, all yielded the same age. These coal beds were formed by massive amounts of trees which were uprooted and landed in the same areas.

After WW2, governments geologists released maps of ocean floor from submarine warfare, now plate tectonics is the reigning understanding, revealing about 70 thousand miles of underwater volcanoes. In Genesis the Flood is described as the fountains of the great deep being released. Snelling explained how the molten release would could steam jets, putting ocean water into the atmosphere and massive earth quakes that would surge water to the continents, surges of sedimentation would cause sea levels to rise, and is also evidenced by the buckled layers of sedimentary rocks that are found in Appalachian Mountains and other ranges all over the earth. Meters per second of movement of plate tectonics caused the formation of mountains, does not fit the slow and gradual tectonics paradigm that is taught is in school.

Vast areas of erosion from water moving off of the continents formed canyons and rivers, which is why there are oceanic fossils found in mountainous regions and all over the United States.

He asked why are there rapids in the Colorado River? Colorado isn’t eroding out the Grand Canyon, the rapids are formed by the flash floods that dump the material from the sides of the Canyon and bring them down, dumping the materials into the river deep below. The Colorado River is a fraction of the size necessary to have the strength to cut out the canyon.

However, when huge amounts of water retreated, easily pulling mud and large rocks, this caused the carving out of the present land surface all over the United States.

Gas bubbles from Basalt, which comes from Volcanoes, was filled with argon that wasn’t from radioactive decay. These hardened spherical shapes of gas bubbles obviously didn’t form over even a month but let out large amounts of argon when they were still hot, thus amounts of argon that would take millions of years to be lost, were lost in a matter of minutes. Recent lava flows have been tested with radioactive dating to be hundreds of millions of years old.

Catastrophic plate tectonics, caused catastrophic eruptions, catastrophic sedimentation, and ultimately increased decay rates, which age the rocks with normal laws of physics and yet at a very rapid decay.

The biggest error in dating is believing that the radioactive decay rate has always been the same. 2 Peter 3 states that they will be willingly ignorant. It isn’t that the evidence is not there, it’s just that they choose to ignore it. Once the Great Flood waters were receding, all the floating trees from all over the earth, floated in guidance by the geography and massed together, forming huge coal beds.

My new year was miserable, since I was sick because a friend brought her kids to her dad’s house and then invited my wife and sons there the day after Christmas. The friend’s kids were sick and so my kids then got sick too. We are all better now though.

Anyways, I wanted to give some hope to other Christians. Anyone who reads The Christian and the Lion, knows that in the dialogue, historical evidence is given that supports the Bible. Also, some of skeptics’ toughest questions, are answered in the Theater of Pompey Magnus. Driven by the characters and their dialogue and an addictive storyline, the purpose of this series is understood to be so much more than entertainment in a genre that is often stale of excitement and adventure.

In the book of Daniel (5:1-30) the last King of Babylon, Belshazzar is referenced. It is when he gets out all the old cups for his lords and friends and they all drink from the cups of the temple that was in Jerusalem. Then he sees the hand writing on the wall, which no one can interpret, and Daniel is summoned to read to him. That very night Belshazzar is killed, and Babylon is sacked by the Medes and Persians.

Historians said that this was an error in the Bible because Belshazzar was not the last king of Babylon until a clay tablet was discovered in Ur, in south eastern Iraq known as the Nabonidus Chronicle. Nabonidus, the king of Babylon had gone to Tema, a town in ancient Saudi Arabia. While in Tema, he had given his eldest son Belshazzar, the authority to rule Babylon.

It is like this again and again and again with skeptics saying that the Bible is in error because we are missing some information that is in the Bible. They always blame the Bible as being erroneous until the evidence is dug up in some archeological find and the truth comes out.

I recently re-published, The Christian and the Lion: Nero’s Circus Maximus to include a few extra chapters and some answered prayers, some ‘witnessing’ that an old patient of mine asked me to do about a year and a half ago. Each of the consecutive three books in the series, following Nero’s Circus Maximus, will have a continuation of that same witness until an actual miracle I experienced in Guatemala in the Petén, in 2015 is in the end of the last book.

I’m getting closer and closer to getting these done, the last book is broken into two to make books three and four. It is an arduous task, but there are some tasks in Guatemala and Honduras that I am hoping to fund for missionary purposes. It is several tasks poured into a blender with missions, educating and preparing younger Christians to defend their faith, and entertaining some…hopefully atheists who will then open their eyes and be saved, all concocted into a series of books.

I also changed my name on the updated version of Nero’s Circus Maximus because I always like the name Wesley A James. I should have used it for the original print, which can’t be taken down from amazon. I’ll be making some changes and updates to the mission’s page and adding some photos and hopefully some videos too. The thing I’m dreading is a few people asked me to do audio books, personally. Booooo! That means I’ll have to read them myself. Something I’m not looking forward to, but I’ll do them, it if means I can help more people in the Petén, Guatemala and several missions in Honduras.

Set a special time apart from all the distraction of your day and read a Bible and pray. The instructions and keys to eternity are there. That is how we can be the greatest assets to humanity. Don’t just donate some food. Donate a Bible and food. Don’t just feed people temporarily, feed them eternally as well. The greatest love, is laying down one’s life for another, the second greatest love, is making sure someone gets into Heaven.

It has been a long time since I have been active on my site. I will make some updates with missions in Central America where I served and was able to distribute Bibles. I am republishing Nero's Circus Maximus. It should be ready in December 2018. I have also completed the second book in the series. Victorian Rising will be published in 2019. The third book has become too large for me to leave it as one novel, so unfortunately it must be split in two. The amount of time it takes for the research and then crafting the storyline, inserting a lot of ancient evidence and apologetics makes it difficult to get it all done timely. Of late, my conscience has been pressing on me to get it done. So, I am going to try to get book three Darkness and Tribulation out in 2019 and then the last one, which I’m not sure of the title, out in 2020. I will also make an arduous stride of taking on the audio books myself. I have had several people ask me about making audio books, but they have told me that they want me to read it.

I will be republishing with my pen name, taking my real name off of the book for personal reasons, but I have added chapters, increased character development and storyline.  

This past Monday, after dropping off some medical equipment for Hospital Shalom, in Guatemala, I felt the gravity increase one hundred-fold. That discernment Paul wrote about to the Corinthians in the second chapter, verse fourteen. Any prayers will be appreciated.

Something that is always inspiring for me is reading Children’s Impact Network to see how missionaries in other countries start orphanages for the children who have been left behind. Reading their testimonies and seeing the impact people can make heeding the call to serve is always nourishing for the soul. I must heed my own calling to make others’ callings possible.

The amount of wisdom in the Bible is uncanny. Those who seek really do find, and some accidentally find without realizing what they found, lacking the wisdom of the Bible, and thus search for explanations that are commonly understood to the Christian.

In the 1930s, British archaeologist John Garstang began excavating Jericho, where he found Canaanite pottery and ash deposits, some of which were 3 feet thick. The pottery from Joshua’s time and ashes were evidence of the battle of Jericho with the Israelites from Joshua 6:24.

Latter it was excavated by Kathleen Kenyon, Garstang’s colleague in the 1950’s. Her conclusion was different and she suggested that the city was vacant when the Israelites came to conquer it.

Upon the excavations of the city Hazor, which was the only other city the Israelites burned. Hazor was the largest city, the city of Jabin who was the head of all the kingdoms of Canaan. Hazor was also discovered to have thick layers of ashes where it was burned after its destruction. More importantly, is the evidence of the king’s name–“Ibni” or Jabin as it is translated, was found inscribed on a fragment of a royal letter, a cuneiform fragment 1.18 x 1.06 inches, written in Old Babylonian to Jabin, King of Hazor. Another fragment of a clay tablet addressed to Jabin, king of Hazor was found in the ruins also. Jabin was actually a dynastic name, used of many centuries in Hazor, just as Ramesses was a dynastic name used by 11 kings in Egypt.

This is important because of Joshua 11:10-11 “Then Joshua turned back at that time, and captures Hazor and struck its king with the sword; for Hazor formerly was the head of all these kingdoms. They struck every person who was in it with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them; there was no one left who breathed. And he burned Hazor with fire.”

Now at first, the skeptic may consider this hard to understand; however, consider that Hazor was an evil city, full of Nephilim and men of evil practices and lusts, raising their youth to continue their practices of evil. Fast forward to today and we see the gang rapes, torture, beheadings, and slaughter houses for Christians in Aleppo, Homs, and other cities in Syria and Iraq. I’ve seen the footage via Shoebat, of children piling heads of Christians in corners or placing them in lines. Footage which the media in the United States ignores, where these children are taught to torture Christians, being dehumanized and becoming numb to it all, losing all sanctity of life. As these children grow, they learn to hate someone enough to kill themselves in the process via explosives. It is their culture because it happens and it is real. Anyone who denies it is clearly delusional.

Now, consider what Christ said in John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

What Christ specifically spoke is specifically the opposite of what ISIS, the Taliban, Boko Haram, Al-qaeda, and many other jihad factions teach their youth. They teach them to hate someone enough to kill yourself. These misdirected youth grow up desiring to kill all other children throughout the world. So think about these important facts before jumping to a conclusion that God is mean. God is just and holy, and in that holiness comes perfect justice. We already have grace and the forgiveness of sins; but what happens when good appears evil and evil appears good, as is happening present day.

What are the origins of the Bible? It is easy for skeptics, who have not fully researched the history, to formulate a case based on half-truths; however, when searching for God, rest assured, God can be found. God's wisdom from first-hand creation goes beyond the genius of men. A quick example is Proverbs 6: 6-8 "Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest."
What is striking about this verse? For me this is important because in the 1590's Zacharius Jansen and his father, Hans Jansen began constructing the first microscope capable of magnifying 3 x the actual size. This is, at best, insufficient for determining the sex of an ant. The author of creation knows His design. When inspiring the writers of the Old Testament, God gave them the knowledge that worker ants are females. God's wisdom is millennia beyond man's knowledge. Through science we discover God's creation, laws, and design.
In AD 393 the council of the early church met in Carthage not to decide, but to acknowledge what was already known. They needed to put an end to the heresies and agonistics emerging and trying to change and deny the genuine divinity and humanity of Christ, so the church collected manuscripts and letters than had already been circulating through the church since Christ's resurrection. Matthew's gospel was recorded and circulated among the early church in AD 30-60. Mark's letters began circulating between AD 50-54, Luke's letters began circulation between AD 50-60 with 53 different geographical locations that have all been verified. Both Peter and Paul were put on trial by Caesar Nero and executed. Their letters to Theophilus, the different churches in Rome, Corinth Galatia, Epiphus, Philippi, Colossae, Thessalonica, Cappadocia, Asia, Bithynia, and other missionaries of the early church were in circulation between AD 30-60. John, the youngest of the disciples, when in exile on Patmos completed letters in 97 AD.

The point is that these manuscripts were written on papyrus and circulated long before skeptics claim, often saying it was in the 4th century thereby giving leniency for discrepancy to be written by chauvinistic men, but that argument falls apart with the simple records of women's influence in the new testament, which I’ll elaborate on in future posts.

The fact that Cornelius Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, and Thallus, and other atheists site the influence of Christianity and attempt to delegitimize the darkness during Christ's crucifixion, gives even more validity to the accuracy of truth concealed in the New Testament. Saying the darkness of the crucifixion was an eclipse, though an eclipse would have been impossible during a full moon on Passover, when Christ was crucified, was the best attempt they could make to explain away the reality of God coming to earth in the flesh.

I'll have more on apologetics in future blogs, but i'll also be posting on the facebook page about missions and book updates. Presently i'm working on the second book, inserting apologetics into the storyline so it is ultimately easier to understand and learn while reading the exciting novel.
